The strategy
Why choose Aurivo over other gold EAs?
Three reasons. Every trade has a stop loss, so there is no grid or martingale that can turn one bad move into a blown account. It trades only when gold is moving enough to pay for the risk, so it does not bleed in quiet weeks. And we publish the final v1.0 results for every risk profile, month by month, including the losing month, so you can see exactly what you are buying.
What does Aurivo trade?
Gold only: XAUUSD on MetaTrader 5. Attach it to one XAUUSD M30 chart, the timeframe used in our backtests. Aurivo reads the other timeframes it needs (H1, H4 and D1) by itself.
Why are some months quiet?
The core module trades only when gold moves enough on the hourly chart. In quiet markets it waits on standby instead of forcing trades, so some weeks have few or no trades. This is deliberate: in quiet gold the same entries do not pay for their risk. The secondary module follows larger multi-day moves and can keep working while the core module waits.
Is Aurivo a no-grid, non-martingale EA?
Yes. Aurivo uses no grid and no martingale. Every trade has a stop loss from the moment it opens, and the size of each trade is set so a full stop costs a fixed share of your equity. Aurivo never adds to a losing position and never increases size after a loss. It was built for traders who want a gold EA without the hidden risk of grid and martingale systems.
What are the two modules?
The core module takes short intraday trades in the direction of the trend when gold is active, entered on a pullback and closed in two parts. The secondary module follows larger multi-day breakouts in the direction of the long-term trend, with its own wider stop.
Does it hold trades over the weekend?
Core-module trades are intraday and usually close within hours. Secondary-module trades follow multi-day moves and can stay open over a weekend, always with their stop loss in place. If you prefer, switch on the input that blocks new trades late on Friday.
Results and risk
What was the worst month in testing?
February 2026, the only losing month in the 12-month test of the final v1.0: -0.2% on Conservative, -0.3% on Standard, -0.4% on Growth and -0.6% on Aggressive. The largest equity drawdown inside the year was 11.6% on Standard. A different year can be worse, which is why each profile also has a hard equity guard.
Which risk profile should I choose?
Standard is the default and suits most traders. Conservative trades smaller with a 20% equity guard; Growth and Aggressive trade larger with 35% and 45% guards. In the 12-month test the largest drawdowns were 7.6%, 11.6%, 14.9% and 19.1%, but one year understates risk. Choose the profile whose equity guard you could sit through without switching the EA off.
What is the equity guard?
Each profile has a hard limit on how far equity may fall from its peak. If it is reached, Aurivo closes its trades and stops opening new ones until you attach it again. In the 12-month v1.0 test the Standard limit was never reached; the largest drawdown was about 12%.
Are the backtest results guaranteed?
No. They are simulations of the final v1.0 file on a real broker's tick data, and they come from a strong, volatile year for gold. Live spreads, slippage and a different market year will give different results. That is why you can test the full EA free on your own broker before paying.
Account and setup
What account do I need?
A MetaTrader 5 hedging account with XAUUSD; netting accounts are not supported. A cent account works best: our backtest used $1,000 on a cent account, which the account shows as 100,000 USC, so every trade can be sized precisely. On a standard USD account we suggest at least $3,000, so the secondary module can trade at its normal size.
Which broker should I use?
Any MetaTrader 5 broker that offers XAUUSD on a hedging account, ideally a cent account with tight gold spreads. Our tests used HF Markets. Run the demo in your own Strategy Tester on your broker's data first: spreads and execution differ between brokers.
Do I need a VPS?
A VPS is strongly recommended so MetaTrader runs around the clock. Aurivo only trades while MetaTrader is open and connected, and the equity guard only works while it is running.
How is Aurivo different from AurumWave Gold?
Both are TradeLytics gold EAs for MT5, built to complement each other. Aurivo puts a stop loss on every trade, never averages down and trades only when gold is moving. AurumWave manages each setup as a group and adds capped follow-up trades, limited by its Equity Guard. Choose Aurivo if you want no grid and no martingale; some traders run both on separate accounts.
Can I run Aurivo next to other EAs?
Yes. Aurivo only manages its own trades, identified by its Magic number input and the number right after it (one per module). If another EA on the same account uses either number, change Aurivo's Magic number input.
What do I need to allow in MetaTrader?
For Single and Pro, add https://license.tradelytics.cloud under Tools, Options, Expert Advisors, Allow WebRequest. The Demo and Lifetime builds need no internet access.
Plans and licences
Can I try it first?
Yes. Create a free account and download the demo build. It runs on demo accounts and in the Strategy Tester, with the same logic and inputs as the paid builds, for 120 days after its release date.
How does the licence work?
Single and Pro plans use a licence key checked with our server about once a week. Aurivo keeps trading through short internet outages, and an open trade always keeps its stop loss and is managed to its exit. Lifetime builds are compiled for your email and need no server at all.
Can I use one licence on several accounts?
Single covers one MT5 account and Pro covers three. Lifetime has no account limit but works only with the email it was built for. Each email can hold one subscription and one Lifetime licence.
Do you offer refunds?
No. Aurivo is a digital product delivered at once, so all sales are final. Please test the free demo before you buy.
