Aurivo trades gold only when gold is moving.
A no-grid, non-martingale expert advisor for XAUUSD on MetaTrader 5. It waits for gold to move, trades the move with a stop loss on every position, and stands aside when the market goes quiet. Eleven of twelve months profitable in the final v1.0 test.

Gold moving: Aurivo tradesGold quiet: standby
Why traders choose Aurivo
Six strengths you can check for yourself in the demo and in the published results of the final v1.0.
11 of 12
Months closed in profit
Over twelve months on the final v1.0, eleven ended in profit on every risk profile. The one losing month, February 2026, cost 0.3% on Standard.
Every trade
Opens with its stop loss set
No grid, no martingale, no averaging down. A trade that goes wrong is closed at a small, known loss, so one bad move in gold does not snowball the way it does with an averaging EA.
2.15
Profit factor on Standard
For every dollar lost, the test earned 2.15 back, and the figure held between 2.09 and 2.21 across all four profiles. Edge, not luck from one big trade.
Standby
Sits out the quiet weeks
The volatility gate keeps Aurivo out of the narrow, choppy weeks where most gold robots slowly give back their gains. It waits until gold moves enough to pay for the risk.
2 modules
Two ways to earn
An intraday trend module and a multi-day breakout module, with different triggers and holding times. When one has nothing to do, the other can still work.

Inside Aurivo: a gate and two modules
Gold spends long stretches drifting in a narrow range, then moves hard. Aurivo is built for that rhythm: it measures how far gold moves each hour and only commits capital when the move is big enough to pay for the risk.
- The volatility gate
- Opens when gold is moving and closes when it goes quiet. While it is closed, the core module does not trade at all.
- Core module
- Short intraday trades in the direction of the trend, entered on a pullback and closed in two parts so part of each winner is banked early.
- Secondary module
- Fewer, longer trades that ride multi-day breakouts with the long-term trend, each with its own wider stop.
- Sizing
- Every trade risks a fixed share of equity, so positions grow as the account grows and shrink after a drawdown.
Worth knowing. Aurivo earns most when gold is volatile. In quiet markets it can go weeks with few trades, and every trade can hit its stop. That patience is what protects the account.

Pick your risk. Aurivo does the maths.
One input sets trade size and a hard equity guard that closes trades and stops the EA if a drawdown goes further than planned. Figures from the same 12-month test.
| Profile | 12-month return | Largest drawdown | Worst month | Equity guard |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Conservative | +171% | 7.6% | -0.2% | 20% |
| StandardDefault | +362% | 11.6% | -0.3% | 30% |
| Growth | +583% | 14.9% | -0.4% | 35% |
| Aggressive | +1168% | 19.1% | -0.6% | 45% |
One year understates risk: expect deeper drawdowns live, up to the equity guard. Needs a MetaTrader 5 hedging account. Best on a cent account (tested with $1,000 = 100,000 USC); on a standard USD account start with at least $3,000.

Aurivo against a typical grid gold EA
Most gold EAs sold today recover losing trades by adding more. Here is what changes when every trade has a stop instead.
| Situation | Aurivo Gold | Typical grid or martingale EA |
|---|---|---|
| A trade goes against it | Stop loss closes it at a fixed share of equity | Opens more trades, often larger |
| Gold trends hard one way | Each trade can lose only its stop; trades with the trend ride it | Exposure keeps growing against the trend |
| Gold goes quiet | Waits on standby | Keeps trading the chop |
| When things go wrong | Losses stay small and visible | One bad week can erase months of gains |
| Results we publish | Every profile, every month, the losing one too | Usually the best period |
Aurivo or AurumWave?
TradeLytics makes two gold EAs on purpose. They manage risk in opposite ways, so you can pick the one that matches how you think about losses, or run both on separate accounts.
| Question | Aurivo Gold | AurumWave Gold |
|---|---|---|
| How it handles a losing trade | Stop loss on every trade; never adds to a loser | Adds capped follow-up trades, closed together by its Equity Guard |
| When it trades | Only when gold is moving; standby in quiet weeks | More often, on trend pullbacks |
| Main risk to understand | Losing streaks and quiet months | A strong one-way move against a group of trades |
| Best for | Traders who want no grid and no martingale, and a known loss per trade | Traders comfortable with controlled averaging and a group loss limit |
Questions
Why choose Aurivo over other gold EAs?
Three reasons. Every trade has a stop loss, so there is no grid or martingale that can turn one bad move into a blown account. It trades only when gold is moving enough to pay for the risk, so it does not bleed in quiet weeks. And we publish the final v1.0 results for every risk profile, month by month, including the losing month, so you can see exactly what you are buying.
Why are some months quiet?
The core module trades only when gold moves enough on the hourly chart. In quiet markets it waits on standby instead of forcing trades, so some weeks have few or no trades. This is deliberate: in quiet gold the same entries do not pay for their risk. The secondary module follows larger multi-day moves and can keep working while the core module waits.
Is Aurivo a no-grid, non-martingale EA?
Yes. Aurivo uses no grid and no martingale. Every trade has a stop loss from the moment it opens, and the size of each trade is set so a full stop costs a fixed share of your equity. Aurivo never adds to a losing position and never increases size after a loss. It was built for traders who want a gold EA without the hidden risk of grid and martingale systems.
What was the worst month in testing?
February 2026, the only losing month in the 12-month test of the final v1.0: -0.2% on Conservative, -0.3% on Standard, -0.4% on Growth and -0.6% on Aggressive. The largest equity drawdown inside the year was 11.6% on Standard. A different year can be worse, which is why each profile also has a hard equity guard.
What account do I need?
A MetaTrader 5 hedging account with XAUUSD; netting accounts are not supported. A cent account works best: our backtest used $1,000 on a cent account, which the account shows as 100,000 USC, so every trade can be sized precisely. On a standard USD account we suggest at least $3,000, so the secondary module can trade at its normal size.
Can I run Aurivo next to other EAs?
Yes. Aurivo only manages its own trades, identified by its Magic number input and the number right after it (one per module). If another EA on the same account uses either number, change Aurivo's Magic number input.
