Five independent components, weighted by how much each one tells us about direction.
Where a source is missing, the coverage figure says so and the score is built from what is reporting. Nothing is guessed.
The score sorts every market into one of three zones, and a finer five-step signal sits on top.

Confidence shows how many sources agree and how many are reporting fresh data right now.
Market sentiment measures the overall mood of traders and investors toward an asset: whether opinion leans bullish (expecting prices to rise), bearish (expecting prices to fall), or neutral. Unlike a single price chart, sentiment blends several independent signals, which is why a sharp price move and a shift in sentiment do not always happen at the same moment. TradeLytics tracks live sentiment for gold, silver, the US Dollar Index and major forex pairs, updating every few minutes as new data comes in.
Each symbol's score out of 100 is a weighted blend of up to five independent components: technical indicators (moving averages, RSI, momentum), crowd positioning from official futures market reports, recent news sentiment, the strength of the US dollar, and the macroeconomic backdrop such as bond yields. Not every component is available for every symbol yet. Where a source is genuinely missing rather than just quiet, the coverage figure on each symbol's page says so instead of guessing.
A score above 65 is labelled bullish, below 35 is bearish, and everything in between is neutral. The signal field goes a step further with five tiers (strong buy, buy, neutral, sell and strong sell), giving a more precise read than the three-way label alone. Confidence reflects both how many sources agree with each other and how many are reporting fresh data right now.
