AurumWave Gold EA
AurumWave Gold is an automated gold (XAUUSD) Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. It suits traders who accept real drawdowns and can keep MT5 running. It does not suit everyone, and this page says so plainly.
AurumWave Gold trades gold only in MetaTrader 5. It waits for a pullback in a confirmed trend, then manages each setup as one group of trades: if price moves against the group it can add follow-up trades in stages, and the whole group closes together at its profit target. In the published backtest (1 Oct 2025 to 30 Sep 2026, 100% real ticks, $1,000 cent account) the four Auto lot profiles made +60% (Safe), +90% (Balanced), +167% (Aggressive) and +277% (Extreme), with a worst equity drawdown of 12.7%, 18.1%, 27.3% and 34.5%. It has built-in protections, including Equity Guard and a runaway-move stop, but averaging can still lose heavily in a strong one-way move. It is a backtest, not a live result, and it does not guarantee profit.
We recommend a cent account for AurumWave Gold while your balance is small. The published tests used a cent account with 100,000 USC, which is $1,000. Auto lot works out the lot from your balance, counted in your account's own units, so a cent account can size small balances in fine steps. On a small standard USD account the same rule counts dollars: the balance falls to the broker minimum lot, usually 0.01, which is a very large share of it, so the drawdowns on the backtest page do not carry over.
Which account type fits your balance? A cent account suits balances from a few hundred dollars up to about $5,000, which is the range our tests and the default lot caps are made for. Between about $5,000 and $15,000 you can stay on cent and raise the two lot caps (Max lot cap and Maximum total lots open at once; our one backtest of this, on 100,000 USD with the caps at 50 and no limit, is described below), or use a standard account once your balance reaches the first 0.01 lot of your Auto profile (about $6,000 for Extreme, $8,000 Aggressive, $12,000 Balanced, $16,000 Safe). From about $15,000 we recommend a standard account: on a cent account the default caps are 5.00 lots, which is small for a large balance, so the EA cannot add follow-up trades as it did in the tests. When we ran the Extreme profile on 100,000 USD in a cent account with the default caps, the year made only about +2%, not the +277% of the $1,000 test. With Max lot cap 50 and no limit on total lots, the same test made about +279% with a worst equity drop of 28.6% (one backtest, not a live result). On most brokers a standard lot is about 100 times a cent lot, so the same caps are far roomier. Our backtests used a cent account, so on a standard account run the Strategy Tester and a demo account first. Whatever you use, test on a demo account first and choose the profile by the drawdown you can accept, not by the profit.

Trading leveraged products such as forex, gold and CFDs carries a high level of risk and you can lose more than you deposit. TradeLytics is a software and information provider, not a broker or financial adviser. Backtested, simulated and past results do not guarantee future results. Only trade money you can afford to lose. See the full Risk Disclosure.
It is easy to install and has a free demo, but it uses an averaging approach that can produce large drawdowns. Beginners should test on a demo account first, start with the Safe Auto lot profile and risk only money they can afford to lose.
In the published backtest on a $1,000 cent account the worst equity drawdown was 11.1% for Safe, 16.9% for Balanced, 26.8% for Aggressive and 43.9% for Extreme. Live results can differ and can be worse, and a standard account is sized differently. Plan your account size around those numbers, not around the profit.
There is no fixed minimum in the software. The backtests started with a $1,000 cent account (100,000 USC), and a cent account is what we recommend. Auto lot sets 0.01 lot per slice of balance and cannot go below your broker minimum, so on a small standard USD account the minimum lot is a very large share of the balance. Above about $15,000, use a standard account instead: the default 5.00 lot caps are small for a big cent balance. Test on a demo account first.
No. It is built for MetaTrader 5 and trades gold (XAUUSD) only, on a hedging account. The backtests and our setup guides use the H1 chart.
It must run in an open, connected MetaTrader 5 terminal, so a VPS is recommended if you cannot keep your computer on all week. The built-in protections only work while MetaTrader is running.
Yes. Register with Google and download the free demo EA. It works on demo accounts and in the Strategy Tester, with no card needed.
