AurumWave Gold EA
AurumWave Gold is an automated gold (XAUUSD) Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. It suits traders who accept real drawdowns and can keep MT5 running. It does not suit everyone, and this page says so plainly.
AurumWave Gold trades gold only, on the H1 chart in MetaTrader 5, with a wave-averaging approach: it adds to a losing group of trades in controlled steps and closes the whole group at one adaptive profit target. In the published backtest (1 Oct 2025 to 30 Sep 2026, 100% real ticks, $1,000 start) it made +281% on a cent account and +1,090% on a standard USD account, with a worst balance drawdown of 30.1% and 43.3%. It has built-in loss protections, but averaging can lose heavily in a strong one-way move. It is a backtest, not a live result, and it does not guarantee profit.
The two published tests both started with $1,000, but not in the same way. On a cent account (Headway, 100,000 USC) the lot was fixed at 0.30 and the worst balance drawdown was 30.1%, with a profit of $2,810. On a standard USD account (HFM, 0.01 lot) the worst balance drawdown was 43.3%, with a profit of $10,903. The standard account took far more risk per trade, so the two are not a like-for-like comparison. If your balance is $1,000 or less, a cent account gives you more room to choose a lot size that fits the drawdown you can accept. Do not copy a lot size from the backtest to a different account without checking it against your own limit.

Trading leveraged products such as forex, gold and CFDs carries a high level of risk and you can lose more than you deposit. TradeLytics is a software and information provider, not a broker or financial adviser. Backtested, simulated and past results do not guarantee future results. Only trade money you can afford to lose. See the full Risk Disclosure.
It is easy to install and has a free demo, but it uses an averaging approach that can produce large drawdowns. Beginners should test on a demo account first and risk only money they can afford to lose.
In the published backtest the worst balance drawdown was 30.1% on the cent account and 43.3% on the standard USD account. Live results can differ and can be worse. Plan your account size around those numbers, not around the profit.
There is no fixed minimum in the software. The backtests started with $1,000. A small balance is safer on a cent account, where you can choose a lot size that fits the drawdown you accept.
No. It is built for MetaTrader 5 and trades gold (XAUUSD) on the H1 chart only.
It must run in an open, connected MetaTrader 5 terminal, so a VPS is recommended if you cannot keep your computer on all week. The built-in protections only work while MetaTrader is running.
Yes. Register with Google and download the free demo EA. It works on demo accounts and in the Strategy Tester, with no card needed.
